Over the past few months of working closely with all units across CTBC Business School, we are wrapping up our EA (Eligibility Application) submission for the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) this month. The EA preparation process illustrates that CTBC is not only developing a robust organizational structure but also complying with the mission and goals, course design, regulations, faculty, student body, ethics, team spirit, and social responsibilities expected of an AACSB-accredited institution.
Professor Wilson Wong shared some of his thoughts during the EA preparation. He recalls, “The EA preparation has been an excellent learning process for the entire team. Overall, we developed a more thorough understanding of CTBC Business School’s operations and strategy going forward. More importantly, we also learned to apply AACSB’s world class standards towards refining our operational framework and development strategy. Finally, the EA preparation process also reveals, in no uncertain terms, the tremendous strides that CTBC has made over the past five years”.
CTBC is ready to present the EA for review by AACSB members as a springboard for further inspections. There is much more to be done in our efforts to secure AACSB accreditation and the International Affairs Office would be most grateful for continued assistance from faculty and staff.
