【108-1】Promoting Double Degree Program of Temple University

CTBC always supports students to pursue knowledge, and helps design their academic plans. The International Center had the honor to invite the Vice President for International Affairs of Temple University, Mr. Hai-lung Dai, and the Managing Director from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of Trade and Investment in Taiwan, Ms. Irene Tsai, to introduce the Dual Bachelor’s–Master’s Degree Program (DBMD) on the first Friday of December 2019.

Temple University is a public universities funded in 1884, and in U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 ranking, it is tied for 44th among U.S. public universities. In other respects, it is designed as the highest research activities by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and offers more than 500 degree programs at 15 schools and colleges and 5 professional schools, including programs in in art, business, communications, education, engineering, liberal arts, music, science, and the health professions.

Students at the presentation raised a great interest in the DBMD program, while they can finish 3 years of study at CTBC, and 2 years of senior course and graduate program at Temple for a dual bachelor’s degree and master’s degree. They are firing up to give more effort in leaning professional courses at school, and at the same time preparing to enhance their English proficiency ability to apply for this program. Doing all of these is only for one reason of planning a complete path for their future. Again, the International Center has announced many exchange programs from our partner schools, check them out because everyone has the chance to join.
