【108-1】Miriam College Paid the 2nd Visit to CTBC
CTBC had accommodated Miriam College from Manila with a short-term Cultural Immersion Program in June 2019, and continued in keeping the partnership between both schools, we invited a larger group from Miriam College for a campus tour at the end of October 2019. Two of the school representatives, Dean Tony Lopez, the College of Business Entrepreneurship and Accountancy, and Dr. Elaine Bquiren, the Faculty and former MBA Coordinator led 47 graduate students to visit the campus.

Professor Chung Meng-Ta gave the group an introduction of CTBC master program, and delivered a speech entitled Current Development of Taiwan FinTech and Innovation to the students. At the same time, we had the newly onboard CTBC faculty Mr. Diamante who is also from the Philippines to share his thoughts of living in Taiwan, and the 4 exchange students to share their student life at CTBC. Carried on with a campus tour for the group to know how CTBC provides students with a nice study and living friendly environment.

Meanwhile, CTBC Dean of R&D, Dr. Hu, and International Center Director Ms. Chang had also discussed more details of the EMBA program and collaborations between both schools with Dr. Lopez and Dr. Bquiren. At the end of this visit, the International Center had prepared famous local delicacy – bubble milk tea and fried chicken fillet for the guests to enjoy before they head back home.
