【107-2】Recruiting Overseas Chinese Students from Malaysia

Reaching out to east Malaysia for the enrollment of both international and overseas students, the International Center attended the 2019 Taiwan Higher Education Fair to promote CTBC Business School to the students in Sabah and Kuching. More than hundreds of delegates from 50 Taiwanese universities attended the fair to promote the opportunity of studying in Taiwan for high quality education and financial aids.
 
One of the CTBC delegates, Professor Wen-Chen Hu from Banking and Finance Department, introduced the specialty of the faculty body and curriculum as he further illustrated the vision of the School: nurturing tech-savvy financiers for financial industry, as the School was funded by CTBC Financial Holding Group in 2015 as a base for talent cultivation. Another delegate from the International Center, Ms. Ada Huang, added on the supports and resources offered by the International Center to foreign student, including scholarship, student buddy program, and cultural activities.
 
During the four-day event, all Taiwanese delegates on-site had given the best efforts to put the even together, and CTBC was honor to be part of it as we wish to attract more elite students from other countries to create a multicultural campus, and broaden the perspectives and cultural awareness of the local students.
