【107-2】CTBC Collaborating with IPS Waseda University

Established in Kitakyushu in 2003, the Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems (IPS) of Waseda University focused on science and engineering. The International Center invited its newly appointed Dean, Professor Kohei Tatsumi, to CTBC Business School campus to further discuss the partnership between the two institutions.

Dean Tatsumi first had a meeting with Dean of Research and Development, Chris Hu, and International Center Director, Victoria Chang. Both sides had expressed great interested in establishing double degree programs such as 1+1 and 3+2 to create more learning opportunities for CTBC students to pave their way to career aspiration. Later in the afternoon, Dean Tatsumi had a presentation for the students to further introduce the academic vision and establishment of IPS.

Dean Tatsumi had a fruitful visit to CTBC, and the International Center aims to explore various academic collaborations with IPS, including joint research, faculty exchange and establish Teaching and Research Center in the campus of both schools.
